Dakota Autism Center

Dakota Autism Center is a center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our centers are run in a preschool-like setting and our programs are designed to assist with social communication, emotional regulation, school readiness, and transitioning skills.

Robbinsdale is a charming inner-ring suburb of approximately 14,500 residents, often called "Birdtown" for its bird-named streets. With its walkable downtown, historic character, and diverse population, Robbinsdale is a community that values inclusivity and connection. Dakota Autism Center is proud to bring culturally responsive autism services to families in this close-knit neighborhood.

Most Robbinsdale students attend schools within ISD 281 (Robbinsdale Area Schools), a diverse district serving several northwest-metro communities. Our BCBAs can collaborate with school teams when families request it, supporting alignment between therapy and educational goals. Located along MN-100 and West Broadway, Robbinsdale families can reach our Minneapolis center in about 12 minutes.

From early communication and language development to social skills and daily living independence, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts create treatment plans that are individualized, data-driven, and culturally responsive. Robbinsdale families also have access to EIDBI services for comprehensive early intervention through Dakota Autism Center.
