Dakota Autism Center

Dakota Autism Center is a center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our centers are run in a preschool-like setting and our programs are designed to assist with social communication, emotional regulation, school readiness, and transitioning skills.

New Brighton is a diverse north-metro community of approximately 23,000 residents, located at the intersection of I-35W and I-694. Known for its family-friendly parks, Long Lake Regional Park, and vibrant community events, New Brighton offers families an accessible suburban lifestyle close to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Dakota Autism Center is committed to serving New Brighton families with evidence-based autism therapy.

Most New Brighton students attend schools within ISD 621 (Mounds View Public Schools), a district recognized for academic excellence and supportive special education programs. Our BCBAs can coordinate with school teams when families request it, supporting alignment between therapy goals and your child's educational plan. With I-35W providing direct access, New Brighton families can reach our Minneapolis center in about 15 minutes.

Our clinical team builds treatment plans around each child's unique profile — targeting communication, social skills, self-regulation, and daily living through evidence-based ABA methods.
