Dakota Autism Center

Dakota Autism Center is a center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our centers are run in a preschool-like setting and our programs are designed to assist with social communication, emotional regulation, school readiness, and transitioning skills.

Eagan is a thriving south-metro community of approximately 68,000 residents, situated along I-35E and I-494 with proximity to Hwy 77 (Cedar Avenue) and Hwy 13. Known for its family-friendly neighborhoods like Eagan Hills, Northwood, and the Diffley area, the city offers excellent parks, trails, and a strong sense of community. Its location near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport makes Eagan a busy crossroads — and its families deserve convenient, high-quality autism services close to home.

Eagan students are served by ISD 196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan), one of the largest school districts in Minnesota. Dakota Autism Center supports Eagan families by delivering ABA therapy that works in tandem with school-based services. Our BCBAs design treatment plans focused on communication, social skills, and adaptive behavior — goals that carry over into the classroom, playground, and daily life.

Our Minneapolis center is approximately 14 miles north of Eagan, reachable in about 20–25 minutes via I-35E. For families who prefer to stay close to home, our in-home ABA therapists serve neighborhoods throughout Eagan. In-home sessions are ideal for younger children or families managing packed schedules. We also provide EIDBI services to qualifying Eagan residents enrolled in Minnesota Medical Assistance.
